LUSAKA - Zambia experienced a nationwide power outage on Sunday due to a "power system disturbance," according to the country's state utility, Zesco.

The outage, which began at approximately 18:15 GMT, led to the loss of power supply across the entire nation.

Zesco confirmed the incident and stated that efforts to resolve the unplanned outage were underway, with power restoration efforts in progress.
